Too many nice guys on the O-line

I know and respect the Texans wanting good personalities on the team, that they don't want players making news off the field.

But looking at this team, we need to get someone with some passion, someone who the other team's player hate with a passion, but the type every team loves to have on their side.

I can't help but think a player similar to Turley or of that type of player is just what this team needs.

Enough of the "We're not executing" excuse...show some passion.

Show some fire and leave it all out on the field.

Side thought: halftime this week, Capers needs to can his speech and run the halftime speech Pacino gave in "Any Given Sunday"

If you are looking for a personality since we have nothing really left to talk about this season then I can see that. But the Broncos Offensive line has been one of the top units for some time now. They go out of their way not to be noticed such as not saying anything during MNF introductions.

I disagree, we don't need a hot head like Turley giving us bad publicity, ie. the throwing the helmet incident. I think our offensive line players play with passion, they just don't exhibit that passion by making frustrated comments to the media or being overly aggressive after the play ends. We've had several players on defense make a display of their "passion", ie. Peek, who's also been flagged quite a few times for stupid penalties after the play's dead. If you see the O-Lineman smiling on the sidelines, or not getting into it with the opposing DLinemen after the play, that doesn't mean they're not playing with passion. As far as their comments to the media, I don't see how having them show frustration will in any way make them play any better or inspire their team mates.

i think you have to have atleast one lineman who has that attitude...not neccessarily the whole line...but one who can fire up the rest of them...one who is the obvious leader...because the sad thing is right now our leader on the o-line is mckinney...and he acts like the mean cus off the field but he gets bullied over on the field...i've said many times before i think we should do anything we can to bring in david joseph in...the dude is playing LT for OU right now but is more suited for one of the guard positions...i think if you were able to match him with pitts on the left side it would really give us something to look forward to for years to come
