is just the kind of attitude that builds championship dynasty teams. After reading a quote in the Austin American Statesman yesterday (you computer geniouses can link it) Tony Hollings was quoted saying that the drive that ended with his TD in the preseason game against the Broncos, is exactly how it should be. At first I was thinking he sounded cocky but the way he ended that statement made me glad we have him on our team. He said something to the likes of instead of Davis scoring or Hollings scoring, it is the Texans scoring.

Man I like that. I haven't been a Hollings fan like most of us on this board but that statement really made me start to root for that guy. I hope he does well tonight against the Bucs and the rest of the season. :headbang:
 
I agree Hollings has a good attitude, It seems to me that most or team has more of a TEAM than individual attitude. Tonight on the bucs game davis said (he didnt care if hollins got a lil playing time also and he didnt care who scored the TD's ,,,its all about the team)! Hollings is a good complament to davis and should make a solid back-up.
 
I remember that sideline interview and even my father in law who is a Cowboy fans said he could tell how sincere Davis was about the team first comment. I like to hear that and I like for players to mean it because this kind of attitude becomes contagious on both sides of the ball and then great football is played on a weekly basis.

On the other side, I got to stop giving props to Hollings. Not because I don't want to stop giving him props but because everytime I do he has a game in which he is involved in a turnover. When I don't give him props he runs the ball very well.
 
Well you better quit that right now ET or we are blaming you from this point forward.
 
Okay, here we go. Hollings sucks and needs to learn how to hold on to the ball. That dude is so easy to tackle and his speed is about as slow as molases.
 
Well, I just might add a little NEGATIVE stance to TH! He needs to quit whining about every little "bruise" he gets. GEEEEEEZ, this is PRO football!! I bet every guy out there plays with a few bruises! Hope he's not gonna be a whinny butt! :hehe:
 
yeah hmmm :rolleyes: i wonder if the texans offer 41k for the players maybe medical insurance :crazy:(Sarcasim) he only makes more in a year than i make in 5 years so he needs to quit beign a titty baby :(
 
Folks in the last pre-season game the coaches are gonna pull anyone they think is going to get into the first regular season for anything above a hang nail. Hollings would have been back in there in a regular season game.
