we have to score first. Unlike the Bills, I don't think the Steelers will come out throwing, they will just try to wear us down. In order to stop this, we have to score first and try to get them out of their game plan. How about a deep pass on the first play of the game? The Pats proved in the AFC Championship gane that the weakness of this team is the secondary, they burned them over and over, and in forcing Ben to beat them, scored 49 points. My fear is that Capers will try to go toe to toe with the best front 7 in the NFL and pound the ball. I think this game more than any other is where we need to use Palmer's light up the sky offense to at least try to get some early points. I think that we can contain Parker, yes I know he ran wild against the Titans but theri defense is terrible. If we can prove we can stop the run then we can start droping back more men in coverage or sending blitzes to try and force some turnovers and punts.
By the way, did anyone else notice how many times in the second half agaisnt Buffalo we dropped 7 or 8 back in coverage? I think that if we can start off with a couple of stops against Pitt's run defense we might have a chance, if not, expect there to be a lot of sacks and a lot of David Carr running for his life. Anyway, there is my opinion
