To Any Pats Fan

I was just wondering, whats with the media? I rarely hear any coverage of the pats. It kind of bugs me because I like the team. It seems that you won the Superbowl and then disappeared. I really get annoyed hearing about T.O. and the Eagles. IMO If they were in the AFC they would be a first round or wildcard team. I know if it bugs me then it really must bother yall. I have heard some people in the media say that the pats are boring, I don't see how good football can be boring. So is there any reason yall don't get the national coverage?

I personally think Belichick and the Pats like it that way.
All their Super Bowl appearances .. they keep a low profile and just go in for the kill.

Try living in the northeast, after a few days you will wish you never heard of the Patriots. :brickwall

Unless you watch FSNE, it's not that bad. NESN doesnt talk about them barely at all as they are all of the SAWKS.

Thats what makes them interesting to me each year. The superbowl hype and the regular season silence

In my mind watching FSNE is a lot like watching the superfans from saturday night live minus the comedy.

Hey - Sorry, been away...

This is pretty typical, and as someone pointed out this is exactly what Bill Belichick wants. Let 'em pay attention to TO, let the pundits all pick the Colts to go all the way AGAIN this year... don't those guys ever learn? LOL, no seriously, you have to figure that the rest of the league will catch up to the Patriots at some point, one of these years, but who knows when that'll happen.

Even the "big" training camp story - Richard Seymour's holdout - was barely covered nationally (when compared with the TO Show) because Seymour was quiet and classy about it and not doing push-ups in his driveway in front of 50 cameras.

Belichick knows that the media hordes will be coming on Thursday night. He's not worried about that. He just wants to get his team ready, and that's what makes him, and them, so good.
