To all of you Homer Coach Supporters: (again)

Working?
I hope you realize what you are supporting. If Carr continues this, he really could end up injured. And severly. This man has a wife and multiple children. Because of the half-assed coaching and terrible offseasons, we may end up not just ruining this kid's playing ability, but his life too. Did you see that shot to the back of the head he took? One of those in a slightly different spot could land him on worse than the IR. Please think about that the next time you say that fans who are upset don't care about the team or the players. Yes, football players get hit, but not quarterbacks who have no idea its coming. That is just wrong.

Yeah i agree i feel sorry for the boy if i was him i would throw my damn helmet down and say do what you gotta do coach im not playing with this crapy o-line

I agree completely. I would rather the Texans trade him to a team that can protect him than continue to see a guy that plays with great heart and talent get beat up weak after weak playing for the texans.

Carr got sacked 3 times tonight, that's over a 50% reduction sadly enough. Every QB gets blind sided on occasion, it comes with the job. That's some of the justification for their multi-million dollar salaries. There are guys with wives and children who have much more dangerous careers than an NFL quarterback, minus the lucrative salary. The line substituted more sacks for more penalties tonight, and Carr's jersey was cleaner at the end of the night for that very reason.

3 sacks is nothing to be proud of. No team would be happy with 48 sacks a season. Giving up 1 sack, or no sacks is something to smile about. 3-5 needs work, and 5+ is unacceptable

You fail to see the bright side of 3 sacks. That's 4 sacks less than the last two weeks. 3 sacks isn't great but it's improvement. Whatever the coaches preached over the past week of practice improved our sack totals, relative to our performance thus far this season.

Don't you see though? Seattle wasn't blitzing. THey were playing the run. Thats why we only average like 2.5 or 3 ypc. They could have sacked us more if they were a blitzing team.

If we trade away all our players, how many first day draft choices could we get?
This team? 3. Out of 53, only 3. Andre Johnson, Domanick Davis (and even that is questionable with the RB market right now) and Dunta Robinson.

What's new, teams have been getting sacks on us without sending more than three people. We reduced the sack numbers, plain and simple. The Bengals only had 2 sacks coming into their game with us and they got Carr 7 times. You don't need to be a good blitzing team to get pressure against us, but regardless, we looked better in pass protection tonight even with the extra holding calls.

Capers is the best coach in the NFL, our players are just not executing, how can people not see that? Why question a brilliant football mind? Don't let that hunched over wide open mouth blank stare fool you on the sidelines. Inside there is a lot of activity going on. We'll win a game one of these years, you guys just have no patience.
