I've mentioned it a couple times in other threads, but I really hope the Texans draft this guy. They can get him late and I think he can be a top back in the NFL. Anyway, here's one scouting report I found on him:

In this day and age of football, it’s not very often that you find a smaller running back who uses patience and vision instead of speed and east/west running to pick up big yards. When it comes to Sam Houston State runner Timothy Flanders, though, that’s exactly what you get.

A diminutive FCS running back with good speed and sneaky power, Flanders has spent the last three seasons slashing and gashing opposing defenses. Throughout his first three years at Sam Houston State, the Oklahoma native racked up 4,234 rushing yards and 52 touchdowns on 758 carries while also adding 58 catches for 566 yards and three scores through the air.

And all the scouting reports describe him as small, but then go on to list him at 210 lbs. He's short, but built like a bowling ball.

Many will overlook Flanders because of his height and lack of speed, but there’s no denying that he has the explosiveness and vision to be a factor in the NFL. He racked up 173 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 8.9 yards per carry against Texas A&M, so he is clearly capable of producing against an upper-level FBS defense. As long as he can stay healthy and work on his balance/lower-body strength, Flanders is definitely worth a late-round pick if a team is looking for a spark in the running game.

Crennel coached at the Shrine game, where Flanders played and practiced well. I'm sure Crennel was probably focused on defensive guys, but he may have noticed him.

I think this is where he ends up unfortunately (for him). As a SHSU grad it really was a pleasure to watch him tear up defenses during his time here.
 
He's definitely a good UDFA prospect. There were 2 backs in the NFLPA game that I liked too. One from OU and another small school guy. I'm on my phone right now and 2 lazy to find their names, but both of those kids showed flashes. The kid from OU looks like he brings special teams value too.

Brennan Clay from OU was in the Shrine game. Roy Finch from OU was in the NFLPA game. The small school RB's in the NFLPA game were Trey Watts from Tulsa and Franklin Quiteh from Bloomsburg.

I only saw the 4th quarter of the NFLPA game, but I did see the Shrine game. LaDarius Perkins (Mississippi State) and Zach Bauman (Northern Arizona) were pretty impressive.
 
The Texans generally work out everybody from Texas colleges at the rookie camp to see if they can make the team.

I like his size. That's pretty much Ray Rice size (5'9, 212) is what I see him listed at. The lack of top end speed is kind of a big deal for me, but if he can frequently find wholes and eat up big yardage there will always be a place for him on an NFL team.

Texas A&M defense is nothing to brag about though.

UDFA pickup for sure, but as a guy who's been to every single home A&M game but one in the past two years, I'm pretty sure an old lady could rush for over a hundred on our defense lol
