Alright, now that the 2006 draft is completed, it is time to look to our future. Training camp, you might ask? Preseason? The actual season itself? No, no, no. We need to be thinking long term here. And what could be further away than the 2007 NFL draft. I'll take the lead and put forth which positions I'd like to see filled in each round of next years draft. Feel free to add on. (I know some of you feel you can do a better job drafting, or are simply bored of the Williams/Bush debates.)
1st Round: FS or LB Poslun-something...that guy from Penn State
2nd Round: FS or MLB, whichever we didn't get in the first
3rd Round: WR2 or CB
4th Round: CB or WR2
5th Round: RB, can never have too many fresh legs
6th Round: Punter or Kicker, they have to be drafted eventually
7th Round: Best special teams prospect or best athlete
Please stay away from putting BPA in every round, we all know no team does that. Have fun.
