The whole "Sam Bowie" thing....

This draft could become eerily similar to that famed NBA draft.

If you recall, Dream was the #1 pick, Jordan #3, and Bowie the sandwich guy.

Now, would ANY of you take that back, take Jordan instead of Dream? I wouldn't, because we wouldn't have had Phil Jackson

Let's look at today. Say Mario doesn't have the best career of the guys taken in the top 3, but he's still an absolute stud. If the guy taken #3, whether it be Linehart, Young, Bush, goes on to be one of the best ever, and the #2 guy taken is an absolute bust, would you be okay with Mario still if we string together a ton of playoff appearance and perhaps a title thrown in?

Portland passed over Jordan because they already had a SG, and went with Bowie because they needed a bigman. They went with need over BPA.

So essentially this is what the Texans are doing also.
