The Texans will not go 0-16

gtexan02

Working?
You heard it here first. Seriously though, no team in the history of the NFL has ever gone 0-16. The Chargers went 1-15 and we are better than they were. We will win at least 1 game. Or I guess we will get a lot of national attention

we'll probably go 2-14, both wins against the jags. Just have a feeling about it.

I want to at least beat the 49ers past the post. I couldn't live with myself if we went worse than them this season. I hope we do though as I don't see us doing anything with the #1 draft pick should we get it anyways. But I still see the 49ers as our only win so we're going to be in real trouble by then at a guess *hopes this is all a DAMN horrendously bad nightmare*...

0-16 should have never crossed anyone's mind. I know it can be hard to see that when you haven't got one win and the team is playing so bad it appears the texas h.s. teams can beat them HOWEVER this is the NFL people. Every dog has its day and ours will come at least twice this season. :texflag:

I guess all the air in the hope balloon has escaped. It's come down to 0-16 or 3-13? Is one really better than the other?

I'm trying to believe that this team will regain some attitude and swagger and win some games. Right now, we can start off OK but as soon as something goes wrong we totally collapse. It looks like the players have no confidence with each other or their game plans.

If we approach 0-16 though, we may as well convert one of our high priced Texan parking lots to a Texans necropolis, because there won't be many fans coming to the games to park there.

Are some of you guys serious?

I hear trash talk about the Jags and about the 49ers and neither one of them are at 0-4.

I said the same thing before the season. We are in NO POSITION to discount ANY team. While other teams have moved foward, we have regressed.

Save your trash talk for when we aren't being called "cupcakes" in the national media!

AS bad as we are, I bet we beat one really good team and surpise the $#&* out of everyone. It defies logic, but I see us beating the Colts in two weeks.

I don't think a team has ever gone 0-16. I thought a couple years ago they were making a big deal about how the Cardinals might do it but they ended up winning a game or two.

We won't go 0-16 but I don't think we will win more than 3.

well to win a game someone has to step up and be a leader in the locker room. it cant be carr everytime talking to the press of what they should do and be a leader by himself we need some more offensive leaders that could put that put that motivation words out to his teamates to get them going. if someone does that and get everyone on pace then we are on for the races the rest of the season probably going 8-8 if we can or better hopefully and be the hottest teams coming to next year. We need someone to guarantee a win.

If we lose to you guys this year I will seriously contemplate suicide.

Ok not quite, but man would that suck beyond what words can describe.

A winless team is a dangerous animal in the NFL. No player wants to be a part of it, so they'll play harder to avoid it. And many teams will let their guard down as the season progresses with the line-of-thinking that a winless team can be overlooked as a gimme' win.

It would take a monumental failure to go winless. I'm not predicting who we will beat or what our record will be, but I'd be very suprised if we can't win at least one of them.

This is a stupid post. If you think we will win 2 or 3 games well ok that is fine you think that, but putting up the goose egg is just assinine.

What is really rediculous is that we are talking about this at all. However, when people began pointing out how bad we were looking everyone lambasted them. I too believe we should not be where we are, but the reality is we are a very, very bad team right now. It is very difficult to see where we might win a game in the forseeable future. I too wish that this was not the case. I certainly don't think we are any kind of a favorite this weekend. As others are saying the defense has to pick it up if we are going to right this ship and we need to get a break or two on special teams with someone like Mathis returning it to the house..................

It seems like just yesterday that nearly everyone on this board was predicting at least 8 wins. Many posted 9-7, 10-6 (me being one of them) and even an 11-5 record for the Texans this year. Now with 4 games in the bag and a big goose egg in the win collum many of the same optomists are now extreme pesamists. I'm definentally not hitting vegas up and dropping a bill on my 10 and 6 prediction but I still have a little faith in my team. I believe the players will come through despite the piss poor coaching they recieve. I have no clue on what our final record will be but I seriously doubt that we end the season winless.
