The Texans FIRED up!!!!

On the Texans home page on the Rivalry video, i really liked what Carr said about this game with the Jags...They definately want this game regardless if they go any further. I have a hunch they are going to have a few tricks up their sleeves just for this game...I just have this strong feeling we're going to be seeing something new Sunday whether its new plays, stronger coverage or something...Anyone else think the same thing??? :heh:

i sure hope we bring it to the jags, and play 4 full quarters of football, i get tired of the jags fans talking all this smack, when they havent beat us this season. IF we do win i bet we wont hear from any of the again until next season, plus we'd knock them out of the playoffs, it'll be a good christmas present for del rio !

One reason I'd like to see the Texans beat the Jags is that I'd like to see them play well and win in a game where the other team has a very powerful motive to beat the Texans. There's a lot on the line for the Jags in this game. Another loss hurts their playoff chances badly. The Texans also provide an opponent that's beaten Jacksonville once this season so there's plenty of motivation to want to send an "L" back to Houston. How the Texans perform this Sunday will say a lot about what kind of state they're in and how far along they've come.

Then, if the Texans get a win in Jacksonville we get to see how they play against an opponent that will in all likelyhood be given no chance of beating Houston at home. The Browns look to have already packed their bags this season so the Texans should be feeling pretty good about that game. I want to see how they play following a big win against an opponent they will probably percieve as an easy win.

So far we haven't seen them fare well against the "easy" wins, particularly after big games so the scenario for the last two games is interesting to me. They've also not done well in December over the last couple of years (last season they put some tough performances up but lost) and I'd like to see them end a season on a high note for a change.

we are tough to beat when we are angry or really motivated. Knowing that the Texans do not like the jags, makes me feel better about the game. Against a team they respect, they would be more likely to toss in the towel and say "we are a three year team, they are better than us".. but against someone they truely dislike.. they will go out there and play their hearts out.

speaking of that have we ever won a game we were supposed to ?? Ok i feel like a REAL die hard fan now, since i'm the ONLY one on the site on christmas day :shocked but that not suprising, since most have family :( to spend xmas with ! Well Merry Christmas to all my friends/ fans on this site, and may the new year bring you all happiness :) ! AND A TEXANS WINNING SEASON AT .500 (good enough for me)

TexansTrue...Merry Christmas to you, too!

I'm really excited about tomorrow. I'd LOVE IT if we won, obviously. And regardless of what some "fans" say...I think the Texans have an extremely well designed team and this time next year, we'll be getting ready to buy Playoff tickets!

And Hervoyel makes a good point. We came out flat against Chargers (when we thought they'd be bad this year) and it showed. Hopefully, regardless of this week's outcome...we'll play with all of our heart on January 2.

Go Texans!

:bguitar:

they will take the chains off the LBs and dunta and they will blitz like crazy and put the jags in horrible positions all day with leftwitch on his back yelling at his lineman to block....

let me take a breath or two and re-read that. ok i agree!! they arent getting a christmas card from me either :heh: LETS KICK SOME CARDIAC CAT BOOTY AND FINISH 2ND IN THE DIVISION!!!!! :hyper:
