I know some of you really wanted Young, you folks have a legit complaint atleast.

But between Mario and Bush, it really was an easy selection. You can get value at RB all over the draft. You can only get pass rushers like Mario Williams in the top 5 every 3 years.

Good job by your GM for once.
It takes incridible balls to not only pass up on Vince Young , but Reggie Bush as well. This was the best move for you team (or Dbrickshaw)

And you need more than one good pass rusher or he will be double teamed. That makes Williams even more valuable.
 
Ok - I was in the Reggie Bush camp. Not particularly happy with the pick, but I'm obviously not jumping ship. I can't help but think that Reggie did this to himself. Not budging off negotiations, questionable attitude as of late, etc...

You draft Reggie Bush you need 5 offensive lineman and you leave Dominic Davis wondering why you gave him that contract.
 
I just have to say one thing. We really didn't NEED Bush. Before signing Williams we didn't have a true pass rushing threat. Now I just need to get an image of him blind-siding Peyton Manning :)
 
I honestly had mixed results about hearing a rumor that we drafted Bush. I hope Williams can become a force in the league.. Nothing against drafting Bush, but honestly offenses dont' win the big games, defenses do. and drafting bush (which I still think DD is solid and not great) just makes us like the Colts and Chiefs... explosive offenses but with salary cap in the league you have to have balance
 
Screw Reggie. He's not a Texan.

I think this is a great pick. Not my first choice, but so what? Mario Williams is a Houston Texan, and he'll be tearing it up while we scream our heads off for him.

I give props to the FO for having the cajones to make this pick in spite of it all. :howdy:
