In other news, I now realize why I was assigned to the News seciton of the Daily Cougar and not sports. It's times like these I wish I didn't rely on the Metro for transportation.

Anyway. It's pitiful how empty the stadium was, yet the ushers didn't let us go into the 100's sections because it was full. Luckily, one of them had common sense and snuck us in there. If I'd been able to stay at the game, I would've been on TV sooo much.

And who is anyone fooling with Blake Joseph? If he wasn't waiting in the flats, he was going to run it. UAB's defense obviously didn't care when Keenum went to the slot.

And what the hell is up with Houston teams and QB draws? If a QB runs the ball 5 out of 8 times on a drive, you might not wanna bring out the dime package on 1st down.

I know you had to leave, but 20-3 is not a score to walk out on where the Coogs are concerned. Keenum can look bad from time to time, but incompetent is off the charts when it comes to harsh assessments.

You know what's pretty funny? My story about the CIA made it to the front page of the paper and the football game didn't.
 
I like the new tradition we're starting. Spraying the opposing team's bench with the water sprinkler after a defensive TD.
 
I was very surprised to see the Coogs play so badly in the first half. If they weren't shooting themselves in the foot they were running some goofy ass play.

BUT, they were a different team in the second half. I think the pick 6 gave them the boost they needed to get their team motivated.

BTW, anybody see Jim Jeffcoat blow up on that dude on the sidelines? I just wonder if it was justified, or was it a show for TV?

I was LMAO @ the cowboy kid trying to cover the sprinkler with his hands. With that kind of pressure it had to hurt a little.

Ummm yeah I saw Jim Jeffcoat.... I thought he was going to suit up and try and play.
 
What channel was the game on? I couldn't find it at all. I tried ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Ch. 20, Ch. 39, Ch, 45/51/whatever those higher numbers are, I tried four different ESPN channels, I tried Fox Sports SW, and I flipped channels trying to find it. What did I miss?

CBSCollege -or- Channel 613 on DirecTV and 106 on Comcast.
