The only reason I don't understand what happened is because Charlie says it was because of the needs the team has to be filled. I thought the pass on Reggie, if anything, would be to get players in there that would keep David Carr off of his back and to give him time to pass? If you didn't pick an O-Lineman 1st pick 1st round, how do you go for a defensive player?

So....having the defense who gave up the most points, rushing yards and second most total yards isn't a problem?

The Texans actually had a pretty good defense at one time, and last year they were a very young defense. I would have liked to see less names added to the defense and more added to the offense. We'll see, though. Maybe Rounds 2 and 3 will give us some offense.

You figure you would have seen D'brick selected or something. Plus you think about how Kubiack went for FA defensive players early like Anthony Weaver, and talking about moving around Travis Johnson, possibly putting Peek and Babins hand in the dirt, etc. So either way no Reggie or O-line player, it's a shock to me.
