Vikings | Fans will Pay to See Training Camp
Fri, 15 Jul 2005 18:15:37 -0700

WCCO.com, citing the Associated Press, reports fans at the Minnesota Vikings training camp in Mankato will pay daily admission fees to attend practices for the first time in 40 years. "Last year we charged for games and programs," said Paul Wilke, president of Greater Mankato Training Camp LLC. "Now we've decided to charge at the gate and make everything in one ticket." Fans will pay $5 Sundays through Fridays and $10 on Saturdays. Parking will be $2. The two passing scrimmages will cost $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 5 to 12.

We as fans get free training camp tickets

Snyder did this with the Redskins a few years ago. Found out if you charge admission , scouts from other teams can pay and have a right to watch practice. If no charge, NFL rules prohibit them.
