Texas A&M @ Texas

As a long suffering Aggie, I'm a happy camper this morning. I wasn't too keen on the Sherman hire before, but so far, he's done a nice job.

As for the Horns, y'all know you'll be back on top again. There's a ton of young talent on your team.

I'm hoping this will start a new era where both the Ags and the Horns are good. It'd be sweet to see both of them in the top 10.

Don't everybody jump on the Aggie bandwagon at once...yawl make me sick, first its the Texans now the Longhorns?! I've never seen so many Aggie avatars pop up on this site in years. The Longhorns can lose every game and still be a fan as well as the Texans, yawl just disgust me sometimes...:strangle:

Huh!? How many Aggie avatars have you seen pop up? Just curious.

I think it's great that the Aggies are having such a good season. It's been a program much like the Texans over the last 8 years. If the Texans make the playoffs next year with Kubiak as HC, will all the people who get rid of their pink soap avatars and are making posts about how thankful they are for the good season... will that disgust you?

I'm pretty sure the majority of the posters that are posting about A&M have either (i) been Aggie fans before the Texans even existed or (ii) are current students there.

I guess since I started with an Aggie avatar, changed to a Pollard pic, then went back to Aggies, he's talking about me. Oh well..... I guess I'm a bandwagon fan, even after all those years I coached youth baseball teams in Central Texas and named our team Aggies, much to the dismay of all the stupid tsip parents who hated seeing their kids in maroon. Some wouldn't let their kids play on my team if we were Aggies!!!! Best decison I ever made not to have deal with knucklehead parents who thought Vince Young was both a Scholar and a Gentleman!!!

Oh, Texas will be back - no doubt about it!

Well, I graduated from A&M so not a bandwagon fan.

Sounds like someone disgusted in his own team projecting it on the other team's fans.... :blah:

Yeah, sounds like it. First time I have ever seen the :blah: smiley used!

Same here, and agreed... the comment disgusts me, typical of their fans, they can't lose with diginity.

You know what they say in politics, "If you don't have anything good to say, attack your opponent's reputation!"

Yep, you worthless piece of trash, how dare you change your avatar!!! I hope Pollard knocks the piss out of you so there's room left for some common sense. You disgust me!

Just checking in to say Whoop!!!! A bit delayed I know, but I took a self imposed ban from the computer this week.

We watched the game from the lounge of a cruise. It was televised from Mexican ESPN, so the audio was in Spanish. Bunch of both sets of fans there in the beginning, mostly Aggie fans by the end.

I went up to A&M yesterday to go to the Aggie basketball game vs Washington. They were honoring Tobi before the game, so I took up some of his Bellaire classmates to see the ceremony.

Went to dinner with Kyle after the game and asked how bonfire went (was in the middle of the ocean during the game, and never thought to ask before). Anyway, much to my surprise/dismay - he told me that due to the burn ban, Bonfire did not get burned this year.

It is still sitting there, waiting for it to rain. There are some poor fish guarding it. The number of man hours that went into building it, and no bonfire. Very sad.

Sorry, but I find that hilarious.
