Texans vs. Titans Tickets

Fili

Rookie
I won 4 (Section 124 HH Away Side) Game 18 Texans vs. Titans tickets scheduled on Jan. 1st '12 for $390 (includes Green Parking) at an auction. Would it be wise to sell 2 on ebay? If so, what would be the price and when should I sell it?

You may get lucky. Put them on for what you think they are worth and see if someone bids on them. Then hopefully for you they'd go up from there.

Use NFL ticketexchange. You just enter the bar code, and when your tickets sell they automatically void your tickets and e-mail new ones to the buyer. A few days later there is money in your checking account. Super easy. Way better than stubhub and no ebay/paypal garbage to deal with.

If you live in Houston, sell them on Craigslist, super easy to do and it's FREE! You should be able to get about $125 to $175 per ticket for that game. Ebay is the second best choice (much cheaper than NFL ticket exchange), NFL ticket exchange charges I think 15% of the sale price..... on $300, they make $45, you get $255 put in your checking account. Sell them on Craigslist and keep your $45.

FYI - Ticket exchange charges 10%, not 15.

This is the response I got from NFL Ticket exchange:

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting us. It does not cost anything to post your tickets for resale on our site. If your Tickets sell a 10-15% commission will be taken from the price per ticket. If your tickets do not sell they are taken down 3 hours prior to game time unless an alternate date is specified. If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask or contact a Customer Care Representative at 1(888) 635-5944.

The 10% commission is for season ticket holders selling their own season tickets. The 15% commission is for NON-Season tickets holders just trying to sell tickets. So it would actually cost him $45 to sell if he sold the pair for $300.

Ahh...cool. Thanks for clarifying.

The guy on the phone told me that if you are a season ticket holder, if you are selling to list through the teams website to get it at 10%, if you list through ticket exchange it will be 15%. To buy, he said it doesn't matter which site you buy from. I live in Houston, it's no big deal to list on Craigslist and just have the buyer come pick them up from me. Never had a problem at all doing it that way and cash money is best. :texflag:
