Yes they are cowboys fans....but they do support theTexans! 1250 is the Texans affiliate in SA and they are very Texans friendly unlike the aholes on 760. Chris and Jason as well as Paul Alexander do talk Texans and will interview players and houston writers. Chris and Jason will do some broadcasts from Texans camp this summer as well.

I live about 10 mins from this location and I should be there if I can get out of work in time. All us SA Texans fans should try and attend and show our support and how the fanbase is growing!

Thanks for the info. What are the details? Do they have this info posted aywhere? What time? How long?

Either way its a good excuse to get some wings and beer. Although I have to admit that I like Pluckers better.

As far as the schedule...all I know is what is on the commecials airing on espn 1250am th zone. They are playing a lot so if u tune in or go to 1250zone.com to listen online u can hear for urself.

Uvalde beat me to the punch.....but I typed it so...

Hey Texans fans in San Antonio.......great news the Houston Texans will be bringing their outreach tour to SA this Thursday 5-7 at the BWW at 1604 and Culebra for the ESPN 1250 Chris and Jason Show. The players that will be here are Jacoby Jones and David Anderson they will be bringing Toro and a few of the Texans cheerleaders.

This is an amazing opportunity it has been years since an outreach tour (with players) has been in SA and really hope all yall support the Team and the Chris and Jason Show.

I'm an avid listener of 120 The Zone and they are VERY PRO TEXANS. True, they admit the Cowboys are their favorite team but they enjoy talking all Texas teams and the Texans are their AFC Team.

They interviewed one of the Texans cheerleaders yesterday and they got them to assure that they are going to wear the RED boots on Thursday. Chris Duel has a fetish for the Red Boots (which the Texans are the only team in the NFL to wear red boots) so he asked if they would sport them. Can't say I disagree!

And what gives? We cant get Ben Tate, Schaub, Jackson, or Ryans out here?

DA and Jacoby are big time contributors to the Texans. Jacoby is a big time WR who is continuing to make plays in the PR and running route. DA came up huge when Kevin Walter went down and he is one of the best characters on the team.

Be greatful players are coming it has been along time since the Texans much less ANY players made the tour. The Texans have not had the budget to put together one of these tours. Last year they were able to put the Texans back on the air here in SA and give us training camp tickets and they promised us more in the future and well you can see they kept their word.

So lets go Texans fans support our team and BWW and ESPN the Zone...see ya there.

Well since he moved to town and ripping the Texans they have had their longest winning streak that was started by his trip to Reliant and three of their best seasons, including a winning season...so punch him or give him a raise?

Just don't forget how and his fatman sidekick bum-rushed a similar trip to San Antonio!! That was ugly and I vowed to punch Taylor in the face. He didn't even have the balls to come join my tailgating crew - Blue Crew to be exact... He's a Puh-Ceeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I remembered yesterday that I have 2 softball games in New Braunfels around 8p that night. And since I work in NB that would be a pants load of driving to do both...

Sooooooo torn. Play 2 fun softball games. Eat BWW and see JJ, DA, Toro and some cheerleaders...

If you see Mike Taylor, make the world a better place and punch Taylor in the face!!
I'll talk some mad smack to him if I see him. But I doubt he'll be there since his competition is hosting the event. Well that and he should be on the air doing his own "show", if that's what you call that garbage.

Yeah..big flameout....I was too pump and I didnt realize they were just going to give it to a guy who called in fri...hope he is a Texans fan..didnt sound like it.
they torched me because I said I wasnt a mindless cowboy fan.

Nice!! I'm now looking to you for keeping that scrawny, wannabe POS and his fatass sidekick producer, in line.
That is now your job BSofA!!!

I thought it was you. After your call ended I got home so I didn't listen to the rest of the show.

Yeah, I heard Minnix and Duel get a little butt-hurt when you called most San Antonians mindless cowboy fans lol. It's true though. See you tonight man.

Very good turnout at the BWW! The lined snaked all the way out the door. Drew Daugherty from Texans TV was there asking fans about the event and upcoming season. Great to see lots of Texan fans in SA!

Jacoby and DA seem very confident about the upcoming year. I was listening to the guys from 1250 interviewing them and their tone is absolutely encouraging. Season can't get here soon enough!

And most importantly, the cheerleaders were incredible in their red boots!

That's great! Where are they going to be tomorrow?

My reply...
Stone Oak Parkway and Huebner Rd. Couple clubs there, always some rich cougars looking to spend their money. Yea boi!

What's funny is that DA looks freaking small on TV but in person, him and I are the same size. Jacoby is a lot taller than I thought.

Got's to remember who DA is usually standing next to. Beast!

C'mon Bill, tell us what you really think of Taylor.

I think he's a scrawny little bastard that didn't have the balls -or- stones to join the Blue Crew for tailgating.
He also is someone who FAILed in the Dallas market and was lucky to score a job in San Antonio before dissapearing into obscurity!!

That said, Matt Jackson and Adan Wexler thinks he's a Puh Ce!!!!

The ultimate low blow!

Wow I am still blown away by the turn out...at least 250 or more people place was full to capacity.

Reminds me of the good old days at Third Base here in Austin in 2007. That Caolina game sure was something else. Will we ever reclaim those couple weeks of glory?

Good job, San Antonio.

Great turnout! I didn't get there till 6 because of traffic on 1604 and the line for autographs was out the door! Very cool to see all the fans in Texans gear. Saw a few cowgirl fans trying to talk junk but I could see the shock on their faces as to how many of us were there. Chris duel and Jason Minnix did a good job with the radio show. And JJ and DA seemed very confident headed into the season. Thanks to the Texans and 1250 the zone and bww for making this happen!

I wish I could have made it, but had to work. It sounds like there was a great turnout...hope this is the first of many outreaches here in SA.

Taylor filled in Houston for one hour while the real guys were off on an Astros remote on the road. All he did was rag on Texans and Texan fans. Kept telling Houston Cowboy fans to call in. He pretended that Cowboy fans in Houston out number Texans fans based on the calls he was getting. The Texans fans probably did like me and change the station after listening to his mindless drivel for 15 minutes.

You're kidding me. Who would give Taylor airtime in Houston?!! Get me a rope!
:whip:

I heard on Friday that he had a fit that the Express-News front page of the Sports section had the Texans. He talked about how the demise of paper printing has lead the Express-News to use Houston beat writers for stories and that's the reason for the Texans being on the front page. Every local news station had a camera there and the next day when they visited Methodist hospital. Delusional much?

What makes that so funny is that the picture has his competition, Chris Duel and Jason Minnix wearing Texan hats and talking with JJ and DA.

Sorry Mike Taylor, but your slim audience is growing thinner.

he would have gone nuts if he saw that there were 250 Texans fans there...would have blown his theory that all san antonians are cowboys fans out of the water....the battle for San Antonio has begun.

Great job SA! Show those guys that there are Texans fans in South Texas!

Little observation here: Did you guys notice the numerals on JJ's jersey? They don't look like normal Texans "1s" or "2s"...or is it just me?

You weren't seeing things, the jerseys they wore were a bit different. Me thinks it's because the numbers on the chest weren't sewn on like the numbers on the shoulders, but the colors seemed a bit off too.

Didn't really get a good look since the cheerleaders were there, in red boots baby!
