Free agent CB Raymond Walls (Chargers) will work out with the Houston Texans Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Mon, 18 Sep 2006 14:25:14 -0700

Free agent CB Peter Hunter (Browns) will work out with the Houston Texans Tuesday, Sept. 19

Don't know if this has been posted. Guess trying to find a CB to replace Roc.

Yeah, our safeties are a liability!

Any decent safeties in the free agent pool coming up or draft that have some speed and some sort of ability to read?

Great, two FA released from two of the worst pass defense teams last year. I guess change is good and everything, but its like someone picking up an old Texans OL player

Don't know who they are, but glad we are actively looking around to try and strengthen any unit on the team.

I hope pete hunter plays better than he did with the Cowboys..... I thought he was a safety.

How about Matt Stevens..........:tomato:

Eh.. below average players can become decent to good in a different system. THere are plenty of examples of this to be found around the league.

Ill give anyone a shot to see what they can do. They may be our Steve Foley (minus the bullet holes).

Yeah! Sign the Burger King and the Pepsi Machine. As the other team's receivers get into the secondary they will stop for a snack and our guys will have time to get over to cover them!

Any maybe we could pick up that guy with the funny looking mustache that does those phone commercials, he looks like he is in shape.

True but that was because they attempted to convert him from FS to CB. He has ridiculous speed but was raw and got abused on the corner. He would definitely be an upgrade for us at FS, IMO.

We also need to take a look at Terry Tate the Office Linebacker. Man he can lay some mean hits on the other team secretarial staff.

I know from watching the Cowboys that Pete Hunter gets burned a lot. But he's been getting burned for years. He'd add veteran leadership in that category.

Haven't seen the guy from the Chargers, but anything's an improvement.

Somebody call Deion Sanders...he's got child support payments to make.

I heard that "The Forty" from the original Bud Bowl is trying to make a comeback. Maybe we should take a look at him. Help on the D-line, plus a solid short yardage back for goalline situations
