Texans Team Report

So far there's been far more talk than action, but center Steve McKinney may return to left guard, which he played for four years at Texas A&M and for four years in Indianapolis. The Texans would then move Chester Pitts back to left tackle, where he played in 2002 and 2003 before moving to left guard last year.

So would this put Todd Washington at center, or maybe the new kid they drafted?

The Texans have little confidence in Seth Wand, who started at left tackle last year. He became a liability in passing situations. The Texans are considering shifting him to right guard, but he might land on the sidelines.

The part you left off is even more interesting, as this is the first I have heard about a possible move to RG for Wand. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Thats actually the first ive heard about the Texans not having faith in him. I mean.. i suppose it can be assumed, since they are moving Pitts to LT.. but I always figured that they still considered him a project with a bright future. Saying they have little faith in him... that sounds a little more damning. It isnt a quote from Capers or anything though, so maybe its just poor wording.
