Texans still paying Capers

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins will not give special assistant Dom Capers the title of defensive coordinator, but that essentially is his job with the team. The Dolphins save cash that way, causing the Houston Texans to pay Capers $2 million in 2006 and the Dolphins only $300,000.

Separate. I think this is based soely on the fornt office part of the organization, and not on the field business.

Umm, I would think another losing season would increase beer sales as Kubiak drives the fans to drink.
