Texans SPAM

Anyone else get the "Texans Limited Merchandise" e-mail? Open it up and its spam for a credit card...with a Texans logo of course.

I get Stub Hub mail. 2 years in a row I have gotten that "football" rag with a skank on the cover. I like skin like most fellas but I DO NOT need my DAUGHTER asking me "what it is this magazine?" when she goes to get the mail for me. I know that it came from info from the Texans as it is addressed to my company.

Basically...does a first class NFL operation really need $$$ that bad?

I know the skin rag comes from them as others have gotten it too.

I just hate my info being sold so I can haul more paper down to my kid's school's paper recycling bins.

They probably all do it but I still don't have to like it.

Not sure what would come of it, but telling them you are angered over the fact they sold your info without telling you and beinga season ticket holder, you would have thought they had better class...

Something is better than nothing...all it takes is 5 minutes to send the email, obviously they did when they sent your info...

$$$ is the reason for their existence.

We fanatics like to delude ourselves with more noble causes like winning glorious championship yada yada yada, but, at the end of the day, the NFL is a multi-billion dollar entertainment business. I am reminded of that fact every January when my season ticket/parking pass invoice arrives.

It comes right around pre-season. It has "ladies" posing on the cover and a section inside too.

Can't recall the name and I have gotten it the last 2 years.

The only business stuff I get at the house is from the Texans. And it is exactly addressed as they address me. Co, name and addy.

I may be wrong on that. I have been wrong before........but its been a long time....lol

I got it, but deleted it witout opening. Figured it was something like that, or something I couldn't afford anyway. Not the time of year to send out "merchandise" stuff when fans are trying to pay for season tickets.

It may have been so lame you forgot about it? I mean..who needs skin rags at your crib anyway??? lol

I will hollah when/if it shows again. Especially if its a day my kid gets the mail for me again.
