Texans of the past

Crazygomer

Practice Squad
As we go into our 5th season as a franchise, I was wondering what some of your favorite past Texans were?

Include anyone you want (even no-namers):

LB Jay Foreman, TE Billy Miller and FB Jarrod Baxter.:redtowel:

I always liked J. Sharper. I also wish Gaffeny the best in Philly. Being the first 2nd rd pick....... How could you ever forget Billy Miller. First touchdown catch, 19-10. If he just would have had some size to him......

I hoped Kevin Kasper would have worked out. I thought we could have benefited from his toughness and intangibles.

Matt Stevens. God I miss those missed tackles and anemic cover defense.

Wait a second, we still have Phillip Buchanon for the missed tackles.

lol:

Took the words right out of my mouth.......

Jamie Sharper.
Aaron Glenn.
When they left, so did the personality of our defense.

Great thread. Kinda reminds me of the Survivor Season Finale where the finalists walk around remembering people that got voted off.....

Danny Wuerful. If we had only kept him we wouldn't have had to pick a QB #1 in 2002.

Walker for the first game win antics at the end with the 'flex' move after the safety, and for the 'words of wisdom' to Jerrah Jones as he walked off the field after that Texans victory.

Mine was Mr. B out there cheering the guys on the 1st year and struggling to try to get back in the game. He had heart, but it just was not destoned to be. I liked the way he tried to help Wand. Always a gentleman and I can understand why he was love by the Jags Fans.

The sweetness of all future victories will be measured against the power of that win. Miller will ALWAYS be tops in my Texan book. Miller will always be a Texan.

I would have to say Miller and Dom Davis (who we still have).

I remember my first Texans game I watched Davis run like hell through the Colts defense at Reliant as "Get out the way" played on the speaker systems....only to lose the game by a last second field goal.

Miller of course for that TD against dallas.

How bout E. Brown. I loved this guy. Remember when he knocked himself out when he hit Ashle Lelie. When he got up he was smiling. I wish we would have kept him.

I agree 100%! I have this picture hanging in my office above my desk with his autograph on it that says, "Billy Miller, 1st Texans touchdown 9-8-2002." It's right next to my panoramic photo of the one that's the Texans first win that showed them playing the Cowboys. Great memories.:yahoo:

1) Billy Miller 2) Jamie Sharper 3) Aaaron Glenn 4) BJ Symons and 5) Jabar Gaffney

All were good guys and team players. :yahoo: :brickwall
