I admit, I thought he was a generational talent. Things don't always work out though. He was still a very good player for the Texans.

Clowney was an athlete playing football vs athletic football player. That why I never thought he would be a good pass rusher, he couldn't bend.

If you can find pass rushers outside the 1st, how come so many go high in the draft? Barrett and JPP where the reasons Mahomes was running for his life. In today's space game, you dont need a Joe Thomas to have a high end line. Remember everyone last crushing Cincy for not take the oline over Chase? Guess what? Burrough got sacked over 40 times, but Chase and Burroughs made Cincy history. I believe with the proper scheme, the oline coach from GB can improve the oline via coaching.

This isn't about positions. This is about value and I happen to think Neal/Hamilton represent the best value. Obviously you don't.

Stingley would also be in my top 3 group if it wasn't for his lisfranc and CnD explaining to me the likelihood of it shortening his career.

The last “generational” player we took still has yet to amass a double digit sack season. The term is overused. Can’t be generational if every year there 1 of them.

Clowney was hyped as a freakish player who gained a ton of publicity from a beautiful tackle behind the line of scrimmage. I viewed the Clowney pick as a mistake…..not a generational type of player.

I'm pretty sure the Bengals are going to make an effort to improve their pass blocking. Because they want Burrow and Chase to continue making history.

Not so much by Harris (from #8 to #14). But I've seen Karlaftus mainly in the late 1st in national mocks. NFL.com has him currently as the #31 prospect.

problem is by time he posts top 100 its already dated.

significant issue with his top prospect.

no idea why Cross falls to 12? his pro day earlier in the week was fantastic.

if he has any pull with Texans and building big board it would explain a lot.

Love me some Gardener, I wouldn't be mad if Caserio took him at #3. But not the pick I would make.

Surprised that Gardener isn't listed in top 10, but Stingley is. I would be happy either.

I haven't been thrilled with a Texans 1st rounder since you know who... So his mock seems about what would happen for me. Neither Icky at 3 or Davis at 13 i would particularly care for as our selections with Neal & Thibs still available at 3 and Johnson still available at 13. ..I like the explanations he gives tho...which again is why i could see happening...... b/c it makes too much sense.

i dont care for Elam either…but i have to assume he’d be the best available cb at 37 b/c i fully expect the top 3 guys to be gone by then. The wildcard is Stingley…if teams are scared off by his injury history i could see him possibly available at 37…but then i still dont know if id be willing to take a risk on him.

In the 2nd I probably would take the risk. He's so talented. I would hope that he could make it through his 1st contract.

Could be a bit of skullduggery involved here too.
He might be fine - perhaps the Linsfranc was minor and he is 95% which would still make him a great pick.
Wouldn't be the first time this sort of thing has happened.

If as rumored Caserio picks him at 1-3, then the Calhoun's medical staff had better have gotten this right.

I have him slated for Jets at #10.
Dude, you should have a crack at the NFL Predict the pick - makes you think and gives you a solid line on who goes where.
I have Texans indeed getting Jermaine Johnson - at #13.
