Texans 2013 NFL Draft, Round 1

If we get Bjeorn Werner or Xavier Rhodes, I am going to be ecstatic. FSU!

My original favorite target, DeAndre Hopkins, would be great too.

Definitely a lock they go WR....they lost percy and their defense is decent...they're gonna look to get ponder a legit deep threat so as to take a little pressure off AD..sadly i see J. Hunter going to them...

Doesn't tell me anything. There's a wide disparity of opinion among teams in this draft. A lot of reaching at o-line because they don't think they will be available later. That speaks to how thin this draft is at o-line. WR is deep, but if there is a special playmaker available, I think the Texans take him at #27.

If not then Werner, Eifert, Hopkins, Trufant, Hankins, Rhodes, Jamar Taylor or Short please.

Yea, this reminds me of the year Duane Brown was selected. A run on OL.

This is great for us, because it was never expected that we would get great value at RT at #27 in the first place.

WR here we come!
 
I wouldn't completely put it past the Texans to draft Geno Smith if he's available. Groom him behind Schaub for a year or two. Should be interesting to say the least to see what they do because there seems to be lot's of options.

Only Hopkins is worthy of 27 and I suspect he'll be gone before we pick. Better to hold off and get one in hte second IMO.

Hopkins is my guy too. I take him without conviction, unless they know something about his character that would suggest they should not.
 
EJ Manual had 51 scholorship offers, It came down to Oregan and Florida State. He chose FSU because they had better looking cheerleaders!! Gill Brandt!

The Vikings signed Greg Jennings in free agency so they could go DT and MLB in the 1st with WR in the 2nd. CB is another possibility.
 
Wow, plenty of good fits still available. Trade back if possible... Oh and I would be intrigued by a QB here to groom behind Schaub for 2 years...

Sounds about right.

You need to see these cheerleaders, or the students even. Sometimes it is hard to tell them apart.
