Snore Fest

I do have to say that I am VERY tired of the Bus angle!
 
The fans that think it is gonna b a snore fest ren't true football fans. The biggest game of the year u have here with Bill Cohwer and Jerome Bettis trying 2 get a Super Bowl Ring. This could b Bettis's last season. Then, on the other side, u have the league's best RB Shawn Alexander and Mike Holmgren trying 2 win themselves rings 2. I don't care what team u like if u r a football fan u cannot say a Super Bowl is a snore fest. I'm taking this like any other year (except 02-03 season when bucs made superbowl. i am also a buc fan). I am excited a ready 2 watch the last game of the year and i hope it is a great 1 and steelers come away with a win.
 
I'm as excited about this superbowl as I have been about any of the other recent ones. Two great defenses facing two clutch offenses. I think non-football fans will have a hard time getting into it because there aren't big names they recognize (no T.O., no Donovan McNabb, and of course no Tom Brady). The past couple years I've felt pretty safe predicting who'd win, but this year I have no idea. The Seahawks hardly came out of no where, but they've dominated in the playoffs. And then you have the Steelers who got their stuff together at the right time and have done some pretty ridiculous things lately like shutting down a vastly talented Colts team. This is a football fan's superbowl, and I'm looking forward to it. Here's to a close game.
 
Sheesh...Skip Bayless is Skip Clueless! Yes I'm in Seattle and a huge Seahawk fan but how can anyone not be looking forward to Seattle's high powered offense take on a 3 - 4 defense they haven't seen before? I honestly don't know what's going to happen. Everyone talks about how Seattle is going to get shut down because they haven't seen a defense like Pitt, etc but we heard similar things when we were going up against Carolina...remember what happened there? Should be very interesting!
 
The best teams from both conferences played their asses off and beat down the competition. I look forward to this game. Hopefully it will be as good as Superbowl 38.

It's a good matchup and I'm looking forward to it.

I despise the build up and avoid it like the plague. My tv will go on at about 15 minutes before gametime. I already know everything I need to know about the Steelers and Seahawks. I watch replays of old SBs on ESPN Classic during the week to get ready for the big game. Rome usually pulls in some good guests from Radio Row so I'll have that on in the background at work. If I see or hear any "Bus returns to Motown" or "12th Man" angles on tv or radio, it gets tuned out.

I always thought the conference championship games were the best weekend of football because the home crowds were still involved. At the SB, you have so many tickets going to league sponsors and other corporate big wigs that it dilutes the excitement in the stands.
