Does anyone have any info on what's gonna be going on during the week of the Super Bowl this year? I'd like to take my son and I know it's a little early, but we'd like to start planning.

If anyone has any info or a link to what's gonna be going on that week, I'd sure appreciate it.

a lot of drinks and partys that the common folk will not be allowed 2 go alooooottt of cameras n media stations and im sure a lot of out door Nickoloden football mini games for the kiddos LOL

I don't recall all of the weeks general activities, but there were many last time. I attended the opening ceremony at Reliant Center which was very nice and many of the Oiler veterans attended. The Super Bowl Experience at the George R. Brown Convention Center was great. They had the NFL locker room set up, lots of NFL merchandise, pins, etc., and games for the kids. There was a gospel concert on either the Thursday or Friday night at the Reliant Center which was awesome. I recall that Chris Carter and (lol) Quincy Carter. I also visited one of the host hotel lobbies (Hilton) to star gaze. Downtown was packed shoulder to shoulder, clubs were open and many NFL Super Bowl type merchandising vendors. After the Super Bowl week, I needed a weeks rest, but had a great time.

This was more what I was angling toward.
I remember the 2004 week at the GRB and although my son was only 4 at the time, he still had a great time.
Looking more for something along those lines.
