Many of you may remember the fights we've had in Austin with the local affiliate who chose to air Titans game (and other teams) instead of our Texans. We have been fighting them for years over this.
After many broken promises and such, they are now in a position that they should HAVE to show some respect, but still they don't.

There is a Facebook thread going about this and I'd like to ask all fans in the Austin and surrounding areas to PLEASE go there and let your voices be heard. If we are ever going to get out from under the shadow of the Cow Patties it's going to take fans like us to do it.

Winning cures all. As the Texans get better and the Cowgirls continue to disappoint, you'll see more and more coverage and fans tuning in.

Remember that the Cowgirls were the only game in town for a long time. Hard to pull away from long-time allegiances. Hell, there are still Houston fans with season tickets who still root for the Titans!
 
I understand your point. BUT as the local AFC affiliate, they should at least toss a bone our way once in a blue moon. I mean really, We won our division and won our first round.They act like we don't exist.
 
I made my statement to the scumbags... just need to swing by there now and then and whip someones ass... eventually they'll figure out we're tired of their biased reporting :)
 
The Austin Texans Fan Group on Facebook bum rushed YNN's FB page with the same type posts. It took about an hour but they are now airing Texans segments and actually replied. They may send a crew even to Lavaca Strret Bar tomorrow to do a piece on Texans Fans!
United, we shall overcome the hate of those with the Silver and Blue Disorders!
 
That has to be the worst station on the planet for sports coverage. I love how they stated that they cover only UT athletics and players, but they really only cover the Cowboys and VY. I find it hypocritical. I'm sure they show the Chargers games because of Jammer or the Ravens games because of Redding.
