Steeler game question>

I am as digusted in this past weekends game as anyone on this board,as I stated in a past post the team needs a coach with a little nastyness to him, someone who the players fear when they make mistakes. The quote "NICE GUYS FINISH LAST" Never has had such a fitting place as it does right now.Anyway my question is how many of you on this board are going to embarrass the rest of the fans of Houston by booing our sitting duck Qb like they did against the Browns during the last game of the season last year?I understand the frustration, but we have to put it on the coaching staff, not David. If the game gets ugly(LETS HOPE IT DOESNT)We need to start chanting "FIRE DOM FIRE DOM" Not boo our QB.I dont want fans across the nation thinking the fans of Houston are out of touch on the coaching situation .Lets put the blame where it belongs....A soft easy going coach that fines his players for fighting in camp.Your play on the field reflects your play on the practice field one word comes to mind SOFT.I started getting a little worried after watching the Cowboys defense knocking the heads off our players......toward the end of the game.....our players looked scared.Who on the defense is gonna stand up?Where you at PEEK???? Time to go to work!!!!!!!!!!! texanpride

That Pats have a coach that appears to not have so much "nastyness" to 'em yet he somehow makes quite an impact on a team that's won 3 Super Bowls in the last 4 years. idonno:

I think the D put on a heroic showing to keep us from getting freakin skunked, though its hard to stop the opposition when your on the field for like 43min approx? But I agree that we need a change in the coaching of this team. I was an against changing coaches until watching the unprepared, undisaplined, unmotivated **** we fielded yesterday. New coach!!!

Instead of having 1 or 2 superstars and the rest average joes, Belichick has several great players surrounded by good players and tons of depth...

You didn't know several of those "good players" that surrounds the team along with the "tons of depth" before they started becoming that dominant force. That's all due to having and building a great coaching staff/scouts and a good team personnel group to manage the rosters and BUILDING and developing those "good players" and "depth" . Something the Texans don't have a sense of, excluding 4 good picks.....Carr, Johnson, Robinson, and Davis.

Have you not seen many Pats game? Belichick does have a mean and nastiness in him. Look at his expressions through any of their games, most of which they are winning.

You guys are wanting a Jimmy Johnson/Parcells fired up type coach....Bellichek it far from that.......c'mon now.

Perhaps the fact that Belichick is a football genius and Capers is...well, Capers...has something to do with it?

While I partly agree with you about the "nastiness" of a coach, the simple fact remains that the Patriots are fired up every game, and our players seem...I don't know...what's the word...laid back, perhaps?

So where does the fire come from?

you want a pit bull for a coach....Hey, the Bills are a good team. Now get over it. :texflag:

Hey Caddy. We made their rookie QB look like a pro bowler. Our defense got no pressure on him. P-Buc looked like he can't cover and will be burned quite often. Our LBs looked lost.

Our offense was pathetic. Carr was clueless. Our OL is one of the worst in the NFL if not the worst. The Texans looked flat and played with no heart. These things are not something that they are going to fix in a week. It could be ugly for a while.

The coaches looked more clueless than the players. Capers never has and never will be head coaching material. The longer this guy stays the longer the Texans will be in expansion team bulding mode. Open your eyes Caddy and take off the homer glasses. There is a lot more to this than losing to a good team.

Would you rather have a Parcells, Jimmy Johnson coaching our Texans or D capers?Unless Capers can make a serious change in the way the team is headed.....I believe he will have to go....I am not a Caper hater....go back and check all of my post back to 2002....you wont find one of the post calling for his head......EXCEPT for this past weekend.....Somethings got to give.I was a hell bent 100% Oiler fan back in the day.....and one thing is for sure...when a Houston team starts to lose....many people will not show up for the games. We need to start winning now....we have the talent to make a run all be it a short run,but after that pathetic showing yesterday it makes you wonder where to put the blame.Lets see how the team comes out this Sunday at the house. texanpride

Belichick was run out of Cleveland because he wasn't such a hot coach. Turns out it has something to do with the players.

Well if you think Capers is anywhere in the same ballpark of said Coach, you haven't watched the Pats too much.
