Sportsline ranks Texans 19 of 32

I'm not at all sure I disagree with those rankings. I might give the Ravens, Jaguars and Redskins a bit more credit and knock Green Bay back pretty far. The bottom 7 teams are 7 of the 8 teams that I consider markedly worse than the Texans.

The top 10, according to that site:

1. McNabb
2. P. Manning
3. Bulger
4. Joey Harrington
5. E. Manning
6. Brees
7. Rivers
8. Culpepper
9. Kitna
10. Palmer

So their list leaves a lot to be desired, IMO. Culpepper can't be on that list if they expect credibility.

They also list AJ as the 7th-best WR, when he has more catches and receptions than any of the six listed ahead of him.

Those two names in their top ten makes me wonder...

Harrington has a qb rating of 64.1... he has a lifetime rating of 67.8. That has to be a typo. They probably meant Pennington.

I agree with that assessment.

IMO David should be either the 7th or 8th best in the league. You guys all know me though...

Biggest Carr :homer: on the MB according to some

No doubt. With a list like that, I cannot find anything about them credible. We've seen Culpepper in person, and he stinks this year!

Lol, two of the top ten qb's in the league have combined to drive a pre-season title contender to a 1-6 record! Anyway, AJ being at 7 when he is clearly top four in terms of production so far this year (Smith, Holt, Harrison and AJ) tells you all you need to know.

the reason Harrington is up there is cuz he throws for so many yds. But I guess you should hit 400 if you put it up 62 times

Do you think they should be higher, or what? I can't detect your tone over the internet so I dont know if you are cursing under your breath or if you are being sarcastic.

keep in mind that they were a popular super bowl pick in the preseason. Media doesnt want to throw them in the dumpster just yet
