After reading your news about Jax, I was disapointed.. apparently from a biased texans reporter. I been to the last 3 Superbowls and I loved Jacksonville, the parties , fireworks, etc. I didnt expect Jax to have a superbowl and I havnt been there in a while but now that I been down for the superbowl it was the best superbowl I been to out of the 3.. Maybe houston can learrn something off Jax if they get the 09 superbowl.. I'll def be going to Houston again. Had fun the first time, but Detroit I think I'm going 2 wait on the weather, if snow I think I'll just watch it at home.
 
Oh I might be able to check this again.. might forget about the post, GL on your next season Texans.

Not sure about you guys I love the Texans uniforms but I liked the name Oilers better.
 
i was hearing broadcast before the games, and everyone was talking bad about j-ville. Now i wasnt there so i personally wouldnt know how the SB was, but reports even after the game were talking about how bad it was !
 
I have no idea how it was in Jacksonville because I wasn't there either. The pictures of the city that I saw looked nice.
Things that I heard reported were: the people were very friendly and helpful.
But the area is lacking in hotels and restaurants for large crowds, so people had to commute from 20-30 miles away to get to the game and Super Bowl activities.
Pictures of the packed stadium looked strange. :shocked ..sorry.

Yeah it was strange to see so many people in the seats, i didnt recognize the place to be honest with you !
 
Odor? apparently they never been to California. New York / ESPN / NFL all gave praise to Jax. The only bad things I heard was from other teams that host the superbowl.. Anyone who went to it knows it was aswome.

Comment about Jack Del Rio:
Football fans come here? I mean the ones who accually know stuff. Jack Del Rio turned Jags from a losing record into a winning record and now they completely replaced the offensive staff. Jack Del Rio never been headcoach before and I think he is doing a very good job.

Also I want you guys to know alot of people ragged about Houston having a superbowl and I defended you guys too. Any team that host the Superbowl that isnt New Orleans / San Deigo or Miami only to get ragged on by other cities. But anyways GL on the SB bid in 09.. If it falls threw I'll most likely be in Houston again for another SB party. Oh yea and your QB David Carr.. I got his autograph back when he went to Fresno State and I lived in CA.

Obviously you weren't reading Bill Simmons articles (ESPN).
 
they ere just listening to the local j-ville reporters, that were praising the city. I heard a lot of bad things about it. And the views they showed on tv were not very pretty !
