I hope one of these guys slip and I'll be satisfied with the draft. I'm not going to say happy b/c I'm still not sold on passing on Reggie Bush. But I'm starting to come around and get over it.
 
I dunno..I think both Earl and Brown are great young players with plenty of upside still.. especially with our improved front 7.

Im leaning towards Simpson.
 
I am really suprised that Watkins and Simpson are still on the board. I would love to have one of these with our 4th.

I'm really torn. I'll wait until the morning.

It's probably too obvious of a pick for the Texans. Two solid players FELL to them at their biggest remaining NEED position. And this is about the time when Casserly likes to get cute and pick a QB or something completely off the wall....
 
I'd rather have Simpson since Bing projects as more of a SS type, although Simpson had a low Wonderlic score that may scare Kubiak away a bit if it means he didn't interview well.

It was reported earlier in the month that Ko had a 3rd round grade from Kubiak and the Texans.

I wouldn't really say that. I think Earl has a lot of upside. He was a standout at ND and came on strong at the end of last year. He was the second best S in the draft behind ST, and we got him in the 4th as well due to an injury he is now fully recovered from.
 
As you can tell by my name I am from Carolina (South that is) and I just want to say that Ko is a player. He wasn't that heralded out of high school but was stud in his two years at Carolina. He is a ballhawk and I have always thought he did a good job of run support even though I saw some "experts" say otherwise.

Also remember that Bob McNair is a Gamecock. Could help.
 
If we trade Peek/Babin for a 4th rounder, we should go with a Jon Scott type possibly.

Ko Simpson and then Jon Scott/Chris Kuper/Settersom
