Should Univ. of Miami hire Tom Herman?

Yes they should, no they wont.

If UT lets Strong go, I hope Herman is the hire. If they cant get Saban to come to Austin. I dont see Strong being let go though.
 
Of course they SHOULD hire him. But he would be a fool to accept. He will have much better opportunities than Miami. It sucks for UH, but 70% chance he is gone after this year, 95% chance he is gone after next year.

Texas doesn't have a prayer of getting Saban from Alabama. I don't know why people are always talking about this.

Some fools think the Texas job is coaching heaven. I laugh at the thought thinking it is close to the opposite.

Yep. I understand coaches want to proceed to the top of their profession, but it's just flat unprofessional to leave a job that early into it. Moreover, if a university fired a coach after one season, they'd be rightfully vilified. I realize contracts are no longer worth the paper they're printed on, but I would like to think people's upbringing would come to bear.

Well, maybe it is, now that I think about it.
