Salary Cap room?

Does anyone know how much room we have? I don't know how you go about finding this. I don't think the Texans post players salaries on their website and I haven't heard any of the talk shows mention how much cap space we have. Anyone know?

My memory may fail me here and the Chronicle website does not have it, but I think McClain wrote that they were $7 mil under this year.

This I do know. The projected salary cap for 2006 will be between $92 million and $95 million, up from $85.5 million this year.

Tulexan, could you explain how the salary cap works and what is our current situation? I was hoping you could enlighten all of us given your vast working knowledge of the salary cap, particulary with the Texans.
