A source I know that is as close to as inside the saints as you can get, says that there was almost a fight on the plane ride home from Arizona. What a way to have team chemistry eh?
 
But the main topic of conversation at coach Jim Haslett's Monday news conference was an altercation between quarterback Aaron Brooks and defensive end Charles Grant on the team charter back from Arizona, and Brooks' post-game comments.

Nice that your inside scoop could get this to you hours after Brooks and the Dlmen involved both issued public apologies hours ago.
 
Off the immediate subject but still regarding the Saints...does anybody think their coach may be on the hot seat?
 
i'll try to get ahold of him tonight, hes busy most of the time, but i'll see

he doesn't work for the saints but has a lot of friends on the team and upper management

I remember Mike Westbrook bonding like hell with Stephen Davis. Yeah I agree that a little fight here and there can't be too bad. So long as they leave it at that. If it continues or escalates it's a cancer.

That was more than a little bonding. I believe that was Davis's rookie year. I wonder what Westbrook is doing these days.
 
I think every team have a players fight or two. Just most take place in the locker room or some other place like that (were the team can keep it out of the press), not on a plane on the flight home.
45+ big men playing an emotional and physical game= fights amongst themselves.
