Saints in Reliant on Sunday ??

On SR 610, they have made mention, in passing, that IF the Saints can't go home to play the 49er's on Sunday .. depending on what Hurricane Ivan does .. Reliant Stadium would be an option for their game.
If they were to play in Houston and they sell walk-up tickets to the game .. would you go?
Probably would have to schedule for later in the day, when the Texans-Lions game is over.

When the Chargers game was forced to move to Tempe, AZ last year because of wild fires in California .. the game was free to local residents. They (NFL) just asked for donations from the people attending, for the victims of the fires. Think they had over 73,000 show up for that game.

I think I'd go, just as long as it didn't go up against the Texans/Lions game.
I heard this morning on 610 that the whole Saints team is practicing and staying in San Antonio.

I Would DEFINITELY Go, Being As I Can't Usually Afford Admission To An NFL Game, But If The Tickets Are Free, Then Why Not?

New Orleans is dodging a bullet as we speak. Ivan took a turn to the NE and will make landfall near Gulf Shores/Pensacola in a few hours. We've vacationed in Destin many times and the Weather Channel has been talking about 35 foot waves on the beach possible tonight...incredible. The buoy 65 miles south of Dauphin Is. recorded 52 foot waves a couple hours ago. Looks like it might weaken slightly before it makes landfall but still a Cat 3.

Well with aj's post it sounds like a possible Saints game at Reliant is a moot point BUT... If it happened then no, I would not go. I'm sure they'd have a full house if it was free to local residents but the matchup just doesn't interest me very much (no team with "Houston" in it's name involved).
