Anyone know where we can find more information on the Reliant roof repair. The email we received last week said --- "It is expected that all eight of the Texans remaining home games will be played with the roof open" ---- but did not elaborate. Repairs won't be complete?? Expecting a sudden cold front??

Repairs, or more specifically, replacement of the roof panels will take a while. These roof panels would be considered an extreme specialty item and will have to be custom built. Its not like they can be ordered from a standard manufacturer's catalog and shipped over and installed. I would guess installation will be done after the season.

Not sure what the Rodeo will do if the roof panels have not been installed in time for their dates.
 
Exactly how you stated.

They don't have 5 of the missing panels laying around, but the stadium is safe for fans and games. The roof will remain open for the remainder of the season, come rain or shine.
 
Remember though, the roof is a material made of fabric, not hard panels. Simlilar to of the Georgia Dome.
