RIP Jacoby Jones

Now I feel bad about the dislike I've harbored towards him. RIP Arian Foster just put out a touching tweet about the man as well
 
As a Texan he was always the player I loved or hated, depending on his last play.

I was always wondering.... how did he do that.... or why...

Unfortunately, most people think they have another day in them when they don't. RIP.
 
now he make a pass route long ball to the goal line in Heaven. Jacoby had those speedy moves and misses, in more ways than one, always liked him. But there were a few times it was like wut Jacoby? Still at age 40 he was young.

I will never forget that time against the Titans where he bobbled a punt return off his hands and up in the air, got tackled, and I learned that it's against the rules for the defense to "interfere with the fair catch" until the ball hits the ground.

I still think he deserved the Super Bowl MVP for the Ravens against the 49ers that year. Joe Flacco was alright that game, but JJ had some clutch catches with some good YAC, and a kick return for a TD. Huge momentum swings due to his electric plays. He was the best version of Jacoby Jones I had ever seen for that 1 game.

If you're a Ravens fan, he not only helped y'all with this, but his fumble helped y'all beat the Texans in the playoffs the year before. That fumble is what I most remember about him.
 
I shudder to think if we were all remembered for our worst moments, and not our best. He will always live in infamy for one fumble, but that’s the playground of life. I held some sports hate for the guy for a while, but as a person, I always thought he was an A+ guy. He was the best of us. If we all followed his example we would live in a better world. RIP my friend.
 
Therehave been no reports that I am aware of regarding his cause of death. There are several things that could cause such an acute unexpected death in a person his age. Although we do not have this information on the cause yet, the most common cause of such a death in his age group is unfortunately a drug overdose.

He had issues with alcohol when he played for the Texans.
