Sunday’s regular season finale looks to be the final NFL game for Giants head coach Tom Coughlin, who will reportedly resign his post, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports.
“This is a different Tom Coughlin, and I think he’s ready to move away,” Garafolo told Colin Cowherd on his radio show. “A lot of people are talking as if it’s an inevitability that on Monday he is going to resign. I am hearing that from a lot of people.”
Coughlin, 69, owns a 102-89 overall record as the Giants’ head coach over his 12 seasons with the franchise. He coached two Super Bowl championship teams and claimed three NFC East divisional titles. But since then, postseason appearances number zero and the team is on their way to a third straight losing season.
