Redskins won't take DL w/6th pick

I agree with them about Branch. He looked like a fat turd. He's the kind of player that will always have weight and then motivation problems...

But they could still opt for Okoye...

Ron Edwards, Kansas City Chiefs: Edwards is a 6-5, 315-pound run-stuffing defensive lineman. A six-year pro, Edwards spent his first five NFL seasons with the Buffalo Bills and played for Gregg Williams when he was Buffalo's head coach in 2001-03.

Alvin McKinley, Cleveland Browns: A starter for the Browns the last two years, McKinley, 6-3 and 294 pounds, is a seven-year pro. Last season, he recorded 45 tackles and one sack.

Rien Long, Tennessee Titans: A top prospect coming out of Washington State in 2003, Long played three solid seasons in Tennessee before he landed on injured reserve with an Achilles injury last year.

These are the type of free agents the Texans should also target.

washington will try & trade down, might force the Texans to trade down if they want Peterson/Thomas......
 
they may go with leon hall.

i doubt they go with landry. they have sean taylor already. unless they move one to strong safety.
 
uh so that means they won't take DL? i have them taking either okoye or anderson, so....no problem.

yea really kast....didn't adams run the fastest of all the linemen? He didn't have the other numbers like mario....well noone does, but he did run a faster 40 than mario (please disregard he's 40 lbs ligher lol)

gaines is a guy i wouldn't mind us picking. There has been 0 talk of the redskins taking either Jamarcus Russell or Brady Quinn if they fall. I know they have JASON CAMPBELL but do they view him as their longterm answer? my guess is yes they do.

maybe they look to trade down with someone wanting quinn if he's available.?
 
yeah, i'm thinking they want to trade down, maybe grab an adam carriker a little bit later. they don't have ANY picks, so they need some. and their cap situation isn't so good that they can just sign a top 6 player that easily.

oh yea i forgot they don't pick till like the 6th round right? lol that really hurts. hahah that sux. they should be desperate to trade down...but then again we are talking about the redskins trading all those picks away.
