Ray Lewis doesn’t think Super Bowl blackout was an accident

"...you’re a zillion-dollar company, and your lights go out? No. No way,” Lewis said, via Nate Davis of USA Today.

”Now listen, if you grew up like I grew up — and you grew up in a household like I grew up — then sometimes your lights might go out, because times get hard. I understand that.

But you cannot tell me somebody wasn’t sitting there and when they say, ‘The Ravens [are] about to blow them out. Man, we better do something.’ … That’s a huge shift in any game, in all seriousness. And as you see how huge it was because it let them right back in the game.”
:mariopalm:

49ers GM Jed York had some fun with the accusation on Twitter:

There is no conspiracy. I pulled the plug

I for one don't think that the clothes disappearing that he wore on the night he was allegedly involved in two murders was an accident.

I guess the world is just filled with mysteries.

Hey, Ray, please tell us more, especially about the shape-shifting reptilian people from the Alpha Draconis star system that control our world by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate our societies.

After everything that happens with government, how could you doubt this? THIS?!?! :overreact:

:D

Why is this guy still talking?

Him and Brian Urlacher both. I can't stand how much they blab in front of the media.

Don't know about Ray Lewis, but Urlacher is the media - he works for Fox Sports One now.

On March 13, 2013, it was announced that Lewis was joining ESPN as a contributor for their NFL coverage link

Lewis does not work for the media. :kitten: He works for the spin machine instead.

Ray Lewis is with ESPN.

:hankpalm: Oh God! I don't care how encyclopedic the man's knowledge of the game is or how popular a player he was, the way in which he brutalizes the Queen's English each time he speaks is like a dozen angry cats attempting to claw their way up a blackboard to me. He's on ESPN yet Spencer Tillman (who bears a striking resemblance to a certain handsome, charming and just plain likeable dreadlocked Texans Talk poster...but with a haircut) is relegated to doing college games.
He's not as bad as Emmit Smith or as bad as Shannon Sharpe was for the first couple of years, but there are PLENTY of former athletes out there with a command of the English language who would fit in well with ANY sports broadcast crew. Howie Long to me is the PERFECT announcer. He played the game DAMN WELL and when he retired he was STILL a graduate of Villanova. Something to think about.
