I want Dom outta here most, but I also wanna see CC and Bradford take a hike. In that order. I think Buchannon has stepped up his game alot so im willing to give him another season to get his game straight. I think we have more pressing needs than CB.

I would expect that if Casserly is fired (or more likely allowed to resign to pursue other interests), he will go first - like on January 2 or 3. I don't see McNair having Casserly fire Dom if Casserly isn't going to be retained himself. That (the head coach removal) will be the first task of the new GM.

Casserly - after thinking of the picks that were traded, yeah
Capers - nice guy, unfortunately I don't think he's instilled much discipline in the team or a fire for winning.

Both Casserly and Capers need to be fired. They have failed miserably.

I would love to see Jimmy Johnson take over both of their jobs. We'd be in the playoffs withing 3 years!!!!

WOOHOO!

The 1st person I would fire has been left off of the list and he might be the biggest trouble maker and cause of all of the problems and that's Pendry. Pendry was responsible for the O-line, sold Dom on Zone blocking, blocking assignments with Palmer's offense, interferred in Palmer's game plans along with Dom, and wanted Palmer's job. Actually I think he wants Caper's job too.

Capers needs to go for sure. Casserly needs to go for sure. Pendry needs to go for sure. I don't particularly care about the order in which that happens as long as it happens. McNair just needs to fire all of them in one big swoop and start over. As to pbuc and bradford - the new coach can deal with them. If the new coach were Jimmy Johnson and he thought he could get more out of those two than Capers could - more power to him. If the new coach was Martz - I'd also get rid of pbuc and bradford to save him the trouble.

That is pretty much my philosophy too.
I also believe in the 'poo rolls down hill' theory too. Start at the top and let 'er roll....:)

Capers - I really like Dom. He seems like a nice guy. But as the Texans head coach it just is not working out. Like someone else said, he needs to go be a D-coordinator somewhere else.

Casserly- I don't know. One minute I want this guys head on a platter, the next minute I think he is a genius. I won't lose any sleep either way. I expect he will be gone.

Pendry - he needs to go. Anyone who has been involved with coaching either our O-line or our D-line needs to hit the road.

P-Buc - This guy is a decent DB. He started slow but is starting to come around. He is very young too. If you watch other teams play (and I do alot) you will see that P-Buc is a lot better DB than some other teams have on their rosters. (A good D-line that puts pressure on the opposing teams QB will eliminate all concerns you guys have over P-Buc)

Bradford - This guy has given me a lot of grief. Every week, I spend half the game wonder how the Texans keep throwing to a guy who can't catch. Cut this guy. (His nice play last week, did not even come close to making up for all the mistakes this guy has made.)

Carr - There is a QB shortage in this league and our QB isn't too bad. Keep him, see how he performs for a few more years. I still see him as the guy who can lead this team to the promiseland.

Pendry - Perhaps if this change had been made in the offense and Carr getting to talk the offensive coordinator personally on the sideline instead of from the booth, maybe things might be different. Then again, I think of the o-line and how it has let the defense get the QB... Yeah, he can go too.

P-Buc - he's coming around.

Bradford - I still don't understand why Sloan Thomas was cut and Bradford got to stay.

Carr - He's on the verge of a much worse season than the first. I really hope he does not avg about 4 to 5 sacks a game for the 2nd half of the season - new sack record for sure. I still think this guy has the potential to succeed here. THe necessary changes were not made for him to do so. Give him another chance w/ the new coach and an upgraded O-line andsee how he does.
