Rams release Nick Foles at his request

The Los Angeles Rams released quarterback Nick Foles on Wednesday.

Foles had requested his release, a source told ESPN.

The Rams tried to trade Foles but were unsuccessful, a source said. Foles will now become an unrestricted free agent.

Foles agreed to a reduction in the guaranteed money the Rams owed him in 2016 in exchange for being released and having the opportunity to sign with the team of his choice, a source told ESPN.

Do you think that there will actually be a true competition or did they just tell Foles some B/S to get him to sign?
I'm going with that second one for $200 Alex.

However, this should tell Teddy his "leash" just got a mite shorter.

If I were Foles, I'd be working hard to get signed on in Miami.

That team is ready to make a jump... they'll go as far as Tannehill will take them & the slightest hiccup could provide him with a really good opportunity.
