Ragone looks good may threaten Carr for starting spot

But the question is will he get a shot. Carr hasnt shown much brilliance yet really closer to average while Ragone looks great in Europe.Hopefully he will get a shot to compete this guy could be the next Tom Brady waiting to step forward.

Never gonna happen. Absolutely impossible Ragone starts over Carr if they are both healthy.

Ragone's performance in Europe is going to be enough to make some fans call for a change if things aren't picture perfect. The coaches will not be so quick to do it. This is because they (the coaches) actually know the difference between the NFL and NFL Europe unlike many fans.

That's not to rain on Ragone's parade. He did very well and I'm glad to see that he's going to have some value in this league. Whether it means he's a great backup plan or a future first or second round draft pick I don't care. It just means he's go "something" which is a positive.

And for the record if things don't work out with Carr and Ragone is still here he might, someday get a shot at winning the starting job. It won't be this year though and it won't be on the results of a single campaign in Berlin.

If Ragone took over starting at QB, the only difference is we would see Ragone running for his life instead of Carr. Seriously though, not to take anything away from either of them, Ragone has impressed in the NFLE, but it's not quite the same as the NFL. ?And like Vinny said, no way Ragone takes over as starting QB... Carr was drafted and gets paid to be our franchise QB, you can't just stick a 3rd round pick in to start at QB because he is having a good season in the NFLE...

Well, actually you can if you want to. It's just that it's going to blow up in your face a lot more times than it will pay off and since we're the "expansion Texans" and not the "expansion Browns" we aren't going to do it.
