One of my favorite people to talk football with is John Harris ( @jharrisfootball ), one of the co-owners of the fantastic site, TSV Big Board with a ranked list of top draftable players. John happens to coincidentally be a college teammate of new Texans head coach, Bill OBrien, which he wrote about some here.
Every semi-sentient NFL fan has opinions on who they want for the first pick in the draft, but John can tell you in-depth, thoughtful reasons for his opinions on the ENTIRE draft based on a metric bleepton of film he watches on the college game.
Think you will like this blog post, but you will like it better if you have heard him before so you can *hear* it in his voice.
Enthusiasm is a underrated superpower.
If I were a Power That Be who needed a smart, articulate, hard-working, football content machine, I would give John Harris a wheelbarrow full of cash so that he could spread football joy all over the land. Overkill? There is no such thing when it comes to NFL fans wanting unique, in-depth information.
