QB and Secondary Most Glaring Weaknesses?

Not bad considering that we had weakness about everywhere last season. I am really impressed with how this team is coming along. Besides the play at the QB position and certain spots in the secondary, the team is starting to look pretty solid. I think if we can get decent play at the QB position and at our weak spots in the secondary 9-7 wouldn't be out of the question. If not, I think we're looking at a 5 or 6 win season. Those 2 areas are important enough to swing our season 3 to 4 games. Regardless I am excited about how this team is coming along.

The secondary is definitely a concern, but consider the fact that one of the top 4 is out and one has been put on 2nd team rather than playing much time with the 1st team. However you configure it (call it Sanders starter, Petey nickle and P-Buc dime or any combo you want), Sanders, Petey and Buchanon are a better cover team than what we have seen in preseason with Petey out, Sanders out and McCleon trying woefully to cover--a great hit after the fact is not a good DB. We are going to get burned with this group but gelling may play a role as well.

Our secondary is just something that many teams will exploit this year and there's not much we can do about it. Hopefully we will draft down next year and load ourselvres with CB's, because there will be many of them.
