Priority Team Need Positions 2022 Draft

What are your priority positions with regards to team needs in the draft? Here are mine below:

Highest needs 1-3
Lower needs 4-6

QB: 1-2
Obviously we need to address the position, but this isn’t a super strong class. I’d like competition but if we decide to wait for 2023 I won’t oppose it.

RB: 3-4
There are a few RB in this class that I like, but I’d only draft an RB in 4-7 rounds since we have higher needs. Unless we gain more capital then I don’t foresee us drafting an RB before then.

TE: 4-6
There’s 1-3 prospects that are on my radar, but it’s similar to the RB position. We have higher needs to address.

WR: 2-3
I’d love to add another WR to the room, but it would entirely depend on who’s on the board and when.

OT: 3-4
This depends on if there’s a RT that falls to us and when. It’s a strong tackle class, so if for some reason Tunsil is traded then we have several prospects to choose from as well.

iOL: 3-5
It would depend on prospect for me to draft earlier than the 4th.

DL: 2-4
Its a weak tackle class, but we could use a run stuffer in the middle

Edge: 1-2
This is the class to draft a guy or to collapse the pocket. It isn’t an IF it’s who will we draft this year.

LB: 2-4
We could easily pair someone up with Cunningham to cover the middle. I have my heart set on Lloyd, but there are several that stand out.

CB: 1-2
I want to draft at least 2 guys. We need guys that are sticky in coverage if we’re going to build a strong backfield.

S: 2-3
I would be completely ecstatic to have Hamilton paired with Reid, but there are other prospects that can be drafted later to fill the void.

KR: 4
Can we please draft someone that can return the ball?!

Hey Steel didn't say someplace awhile back that Nick wants Garoppolo as his QB ?
Makes perfectly good sense and probably has a higher chance of happening than people give credit. I could see this over all of the Tua talk. Personally I'm not a fan.

If we’re saying “priority” as in where we should prioritize or 1st & 2nd day picks I’m going to say DBs. If we’ve got 4 picks in the first two days of the draft I want to draft 4 DBs. Three corners one safety, three safeties one corner, doesn’t matter. Just get 4 DBs that know how to play cover 2.

CB is pretty too heavy and then some quality depth in the bottom 3-7 rounds. I think S has some depth too.
I could definitely see is grabbing 3 DBs but with needs across the board I’d be hesitant to use more than 3 picks.

Also, is there a site that designates which DBs are familiar with the cover 2 system?

2 CB's, an edge and a S would really help this defense out.
