Preseason TV schedule in Austin

Inquired to KNVA to verify that they were going to carry the Texan preseason games again this year. Here is the response:

Yes. We have the games scheduled on KBVO (over the air channel 14.1) & KNVA (over the air channel 54)

KBVO 8/14/10 7PM – 10PM
KBVO 8/21/10 7PM – 10PM
KNVA 9/2/10 7PM – 10PM

You're absolutely right. I think we are pretty solid this week for the Colts game, but if we struggle and get off to a shaky start in September, it's definitely a week to week proposition. Maybe I'll contact KEYE just to to see what their "spin" is regarding plans for Texan games for this season. I think they have different management than they did a couple of years ago.

Cool, and I agree. I suspect they know my e-mail address by now.....lol. I have written to thank them for covering a game so as to be fair and not ungrateful when they "do as I ask," but they probably know me better for the .....um.....angry e-mails at, say, 12:01pm many a Sundays.

I can remember emailing from 4 different addresses in previous years...but I also make sure I contact expressing my appreciation when they "do the right thing"
 
Sunday ticket for us this year! It gets installed very soon. First time we've had cable in about 5 years. I'm real excited.
 
Has anyone been able to yet confirm the TV schedule for this week? I just looked and the teams they will be showing are "TBA" and it's friggin Tuesday...this is getting me worried. Any emailers to them have confirmation yet?

Need to know whether to stock up on beers and meats or plan on staying sober as I will be forced to drive somewhere unless I can coax a buddy into driving??

Hopefully that map holds true!

KEYE has pulled enough monumental VY jock swinging BS that I still don't trust it until I see it on their web site. Even then......

But, I did not realize that bumblescum and the hootinanies are playing Oakland anyway. The INDY - HOU game should be way more intriguing obviously so that helps too.

Winning this game would probably go a long way in securing Texans on KEYE all season with no worries (that and king donko of punch-stania Rudy having a melt down of epic fail proportions in bumblecsum).:splits:

The map shows the entire DFW area airing the Texans. Either Jerry hasn't made his phone calls yet or the map is suspect. I'll believe it at 12:01pm Sunday, I'm watching the game and I'm reading on the Gameday Thread we've already lost due to the 1st play for no gain. :photos:

Why would Jerry make a call? And what game do you think he would prefer to be shown in DFW on CBS @ noon Sunday?

You already know it is being shown in Austin...:confused:

Really? Jerry forbids the Texans showing in his city and as a result they are not shown in Dallas. Been that way since '02 as far as I know.

EDIT: If you are from here you have seen they say it will air then it's not there come Sunday. Just sayin' fool me once........

I've said it before and I'll say it again K-EYE SUCKS! I'd not trust them as far as I could throw Joe Texan or AxMan.
 
Ok, CBS has the double header this weekend.

We play the late game at 3 against Skins, just checked KEYE and TBA as of now for teams.

Anyone who has emailed the station or whatever, please post confirmation on whether the game will be shown in Austin or not so I can plan accordingly. I never seem to hear back when I email.....
