Well...

You must think Eric Moulds and Andre Johnson are horrible football players. Carr made 1 attempt to a receiver in the first half, and he had time. He is an excellent athelete with a messed up head. I hate it more than you do. Trust me!
 
There was nothing wrong with that throw. AJ in a jump ball vs. Darrent Williams with both his hands on the ball 25-30 yards upfield?

Teams can take away things in the NFL...you have to be able to beat someone more than a couple of ways.
 
For all you people that bash Carr, tell me who you would rather have and if you say sorry ass on hit wonder Vince Young your crazy. He is so over rated it is not even funny, him and his little flip wristed passes. And for the coment of "most of us have been watching him since 2002". Thats nice cause I was watching him college with Fresno state and the kid is fenominal if he had a good team behind him. I truly believe this is the year that he will break out and show the entire league what he is really made of.
 
Our secondary is stepping up.....causing 3 and out.

This defense has been very impressive. Other than that stupid Malone penalty, we should be at 3-3.
 
Good thing the D is looking good. D minded coach, the D sucks. O minded coach and the D has looked great.
 
I'm done defending him. I hate David Carr. I'm glad I'm going to the Bucs game and not the Chiefs game, I won't have to see him long.

D looks solid.

Quick question: Do yall think we are using the whole playbook or are we keeping most of it under wraps for the regular season?

I would say under wraps. Probably a few new things we're trying out out on a play or two, but for the most part it should still be plain.

I'm sure we are keeping some things under wraps. You don't show everyone your whole playbook in the preseason...

Not blaming him. I said he was "snake-bit" when it came to deflected passes. I meant that he's got lousy luck when the ball gets deflected in the air. I think half the interceptions he's thrown in his career were off deflections that popped up into the air. We almost never seem to win those. Every time I see a David Carr pass go straight up I know someone on the other team has a 75+ % chance of coming down with that bad boy.

Ya know i share your defense tendencies on david but he is kinda slow to get it going right nowhopefully he will pick it up soon... for the good of the team.
 
I think they are using prolly about 60% of the playbook, most coaches do not open up the playbook until the regular series, so as to have some what of and edge so as to not show our entire offense
