Agreed! Pain sucks and unfortunately I inflict enough on myself that I don't need it from anyone else.
We've seen fights in the yellow lot every year since the beginning, including during the 2-14 season. Booze has a way of bringing out the asshat in some folks.
Well my "live" football watching days are long behind me but I've never seen people act like they do nowadays. In the "good old days" you could go and not worry about being hit or assaulted or having something thrown at you for no reason.
I dunno. People like to fight over nothing nowadays. Way more liquid courage now than I ever remember.
I am so confused. Did the Cowboys fan punch his lady, or did the Cowboys fan try to punch a Texans fan then missed and accidentally punched his lady? Did any Texans fans try to intervene or stood back because it was a Cowboys fight?
There was so much chaos in the video, it was hard to determine who was doing what. I thought I saw some red jerseys near the commotion but they were blocking the view of the fighting Cowboys fans.

Seriously...I think I have seen 1 fight in the Yellow Lot in 8 years. I am not saying they don't happen...I just haven't seen them.
I spoke with a LEO last night at the tailgate and he said that the Cowboys/Texans gane from the week earlier set a record in fights. I can only imagine what it is going to be like on the real game.
You're always on the front row with the regular tailgaters. I doubt much ever happens with the regulars. All of the fights that we have seen have been after games toward the back of the lot, usually around those big party tailgates. And most of the time it involved an opposing team's fan. We did see some kind of domestic dispute once, and another heard that a dude's wife was being hit on.

There's was a fight in the Yellow north of the grass last night. Going on enough to where a couple of HPD cars came racing in.
Last year in Yellow there was a fight almost every game. Can't say that I've seen it every year, but it has just really gotten ridiculous here lately. Somebody's going to end up getting shot one of these days, and then that's it. Tailgating as we know it is over.

That said, I am really proud of some of those long-standing independent tailgates (i.e. My Blue Crew brethren, FILO, YellowLotDwellers, Mojo et al) for maintaining great, safe and fan friendly tailgates... Toast to all y'all from me, Blue Crewer!! Keep it safe guys!
