Pick is coming in now.
Houston trades 4th(109) and 5th (158) and 2022 4th (Rams)
Just more indicators DW4 is gone and gonna recoup those picks.
He opted out and skipped the 2020 season.

No not really, IMO. I had a WR penciled in at 109, either Collins or Tamorrion Terry. So we gave up a 5th and a 4th to move up, neither our own pick. We still have our own 5th tomorrow.Ouch. Thats a lot to pay
Because they traded up to get a WR even though they were already upside down on draft capital. Which would seem to indicate, along with the David Mills pick that the team is posturing to move on from DW4. Which will result in a trade and a recovery of said draft capital when the entire process plays out. That and along with cutting him out of the intro of Texans 360 of course. How so?

Agreed, I like this pick even giving up what we didDarn good pick gents. Big receiver who runs a 4.4 40, good hands and solid route runner.
It’s not his his top end speed ...that is great, it’s his acceleration. Takes him a little bit to get up to that top end speed...& you can see it in his film. He’s a pretty big guy though so that’s understandable. It seems strange that a guy that fast has trouble getting separation. Is he one of those guys that can run fast in a straight line but doesn't have lateral quickness ?

Smart kid. MICH played 6 games, he stayed healthy, and you know you're going in the 2nd/3rdWait what? He didn't play '20 and we traded that much to get him?
From what I read, this may be from his college coaching and is correctable. He needs to get into his route quicker and not try to finesse his opponent. It seems strange that a guy that fast has trouble getting separation. He didn't play in 20?
No, he opted out because of covid I would assume.
Caserio said he lumps round 5-7 guys in with UDFA guys.Agreed, I like this pick even giving up what we did
You don't think the Texans have already decided to move on from dw4?I don't read the tea leaves that way.

Why, lots of NFL pkayers opted out. Then chalk me down as wanting someone else.
We can't trade Watson, the league would not approve a trade while there is an ongoing investigation even if a team took him right now.Have we traded dw yet?
I'm thinking more either they don't like who is available or they want to see if the current rister can be better with a new scheme and DCThey must really like what they have already on defense OR they believe some good defensive guys will become available to use their 1st 2 picks on offense.

my post came out wrong. I meant good defensive veterans that will be released by other teams.I'm thinking more either they don't like who is available or they want to see if the current rister can be better with a new scheme and DC
These picks are fine but is our plan to not field a defense?
[/QUOTEEd./QUOTE]
umm, yes?
Really havent seen anyone left in the draft that would be a big help on defense. Like @Mr teX said could be they think some vets will go cheap. I'm thinking more they are gearing up for a heavy 2022 defense draft. These picks are fine but is our plan to not field a defense?
I think Caserio see’s this as a 2-year first step. These picks are fine but is our plan to not field a defense?
I’d still be pretty happy with LB- Snowden (VA) in this draft.Really havent seen anyone left in the draft that would be a big help on defense. Like @Mr teX said could be they think some vets will go cheap. I'm thinking more they are gearing up for a heavy 2022 defense draft.
